1. Agreement to terms
Bobby is a social app for dog owners to discover nearby dogs, match for playdates, chat, and connect around dog-friendly spots and packs. By accessing or using the Bobby app and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Bobby. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information about yourself and your dog(s) and update it as needed. One person may have multiple dogs (e.g. a "pack" profile) under one account.
3. Use of the service
You agree to use Bobby only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You may not harass, abuse, impersonate, or harm others (people or animals); spam or misuse the platform (e.g. Discovery, matches, chat, spots, packs); circumvent security or access controls; or use the service in any way that could damage or overload our systems or harm other users. You must not use the app to arrange meetups or share information in a way that endangers you, your dog, or others.
4. Content and conduct
You retain ownership of content you post (e.g. profile and dog photos, messages, pack events). You grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service. You are responsible for your content and conduct. Content must be appropriate and must not depict harm to animals or people. We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our policies. You can block other users and report issues through the app.
5. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for the conduct of users or for content posted by users. Use of the app — including Discovery, matching, chat, meetups, the map, spots, packs, and lost-dog alerts — and any interactions with other users or at physical locations are at your own risk. Lost-dog alerts are user-generated; we do not verify them and are not liable for their accuracy or for outcomes related to lost or found dogs.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bobby and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, or for any harm to persons or animals, arising from your use of or inability to use the service or from your interactions with other users or third parties.
7. Changes and termination
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or for other reasons as described in our policies. You may delete your account at any time from Account; that will remove your profile, dogs, matches, messages, and related data as described in our Privacy Policy.
